PCC Holds Roads Roundtable for Partners
On Thursday 1st October, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Dafydd Llywelyn invited key partners to Police Headquarters in Llangunnor to engage in a Roads Roundtable.
Partners, including representatives from areas such as local authorities, Dyfed-Powys Police, Go Safe and Welsh Government, gathered to discuss concerns regarding the roads of the Dyfed-Powys area, and to make recommendations on improvements and collaborative work to improve services.
This roundtable is the second in a series of work undertaken by the PCC into the review of the road safety landscape across the Dyfed-Powys policing area. The PCC opened a grant funding opportunity in the summer of 2026. The first Road Safety Roundtable aligned with this opportunity to facilitate discussion about potential funding ideas which could be implemented across the whole area. This also allowed for conversations about local interventions which could be scaled up to different areas.

Bringing partners together for this roundtable provides a crucial opportunity to share knowledge, concerns and how we can work collaboratively to make roads safer for not only motorists but cyclists and pedestrians.
