The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys is looking forward to talking to communities across the region this summer at a number of major events.

Over the coming weeks, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (OPCC)  team will be attending the Royal Welsh Show, the National Eisteddfod and the Pembrokeshire County Show, giving visitors the opportunity to find out more about the work of the office, talk to the team and learn how they can get involved in supporting safer communities.

Whether you’re visiting one of the shows for a day or attending for the whole event, we’d love to welcome you to our stand.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the Police and Crime Plan and how it is helping to shape policing and community safety across the Dyfed-Powys area. The team will also be available to discuss the services commissioned by the OPCC to support victims of crime, provide information on community safety initiatives and answer questions about the work of the office.

If you’ve ever considered volunteering, our team can also tell you more about the OPCC’s volunteer opportunities, including Independent Custody Visitors, Animal Welfare Visitors and members of our Quality Assurance Panel. These volunteers play an important role in supporting transparency, accountability and public confidence in policing.

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said:
“Summer events provide a fantastic opportunity to talk to people from communities across the Dyfed-Powys area, hear about the issues that matter to them and share the work being carried out by my office.

“Whether you have a question about policing, would like to find out more about our work or are interested in volunteering, I’d encourage you to come and talk to the team if you’re attending one of these events. We always value the opportunity to listen to local people and hear their views.”

You can find the OPCC at:

Royal Welsh Show: Stand 478-E
National Eisteddfod: Stand 501-503

We look forward to talking to visitors throughout the summer and hope you’ll stop by to say hello.
