The Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner, Dafydd Llywelyn, is proud to support National Stalking Awareness Week 2026, taking place from 20–26 April, which this year focuses on the critical link between stalking and homicide.

National Stalking Awareness Week is an annual UK-wide campaign which aims to raise awareness of stalking, how to recognise the signs, support services available, and reduce the stigma that surrounds stalking.

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said:

“This week is a reminder to all that stalking is a crime which has devastating long-term impact on victims and their loved ones. For many victims, stalking is a daily fear, and we must ensure victims of stalking are heard, seen, and supported – and I encourage professionals to take part in events across National Stalking Awareness Week. Stalking is not flattery; it is a crime.”
