Dyfed-Powys Cyber Resilience Road Show Success
Businesses and organisations were invited to a free conference, discussing cyber resilience in Parc Y Scarlets earlier this month.
Hosted by the Wales Cyber Resilience Centre in partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys and Welsh Government, the conference brought together cyber security experts and organisations who shared practical advice, real-world insights and the latest guidance on strengthening cyber resilience.
With cybercrime continuing to evolve, organisations of every size are facing increasingly sophisticated threats. The conference provided practical advice, real-life insights and simple steps that businesses and organisations can take to strengthen their cyber resilience and better protect themselves from cybercrime.
Attendees heard from cyber security specialists, representatives from Dyfed-Powys Police and guest speaker Nigel Owens MBE, who shared insights during an afternoon of expert presentations, practical advice and networking opportunities. Nigel Owens MBE closed the conference with a compelling talk, discussing his own personal resilience story.
Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said:
“Cyber criminals don’t just target large organisations. Small businesses, charities and community groups are increasingly being targeted too, making it more important than ever that organisations understand how to protect themselves.
“This conference offered an excellent opportunity to hear from experts, learn practical ways to reduce risk and strengthen resilience against emerging cyber threats. I am grateful to all our speakers, who gave insightful talks and want to thank everyone who attended.”
